- 563 BC e. : Siddhartha Gautama, the future Buddha , was born in Lumbini (Ancient India ). [one]
- 534 BC e. : Gautama leaves his father's house and becomes an ascetic .
- 528 BC e. : Gautama attains enlightenment , becomes a Buddha, and begins his ministry.
- Around 500 BC e. : Classic Sanskrit replaces the Vedic language . [2]
- Around the 490s BC e. - 410's BC e. : Buddha's life according to a recent study.
- Around 483 BC e. : Shakyamuni Buddha dies (in Buddhism it is believed - goes to parinirvana ) in Kushinar (current name Kushinagar ), in India .
