Biography

Working. Member of the RSDLP since 1915, a Bolshevik. During the First World War, he was evacuated to central Russia. Member of the Civil War. In 1919 he returned to Poland. Member of the Communist Party of Poland since 1919. Member of the Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Poland Dombrowski coal basin in 1920-1923. Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Poland in the years 1923-1924 and 1925-1929. Member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Poland in 1923-1924. Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Poland in the years 1925-1927. In 1929 he was expelled from the leadership of the Communist Party of Poland on the charge of right-wing deviation. In 1929-1931 years - an employee of the Comintern. In 1931 he was sent by the Executive Committee of the Communist International to head the Communist Party of Romania (CRC). In 1931–1933, he led the Foreign Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Romania in Berlin, and in 1933–36 in the USSR. In 1936 he was removed from the post of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Romania. In February 1937, he was repressed. Rehabilitated posthumously in 1955.
