Rostov bus - a system of bus passenger urban transport in the city of Rostov-on-Don . All city vehicles are represented by high-capacity buses and fixed-route taxis. In total, there are 108 routes in the city (November 2018), most of which are served by buses of large and medium capacity.

Rolling stock
In accordance with the new route network, the number of rolling stock will be 1280 units of buses of large, medium and small capacity. The number of large buses is 552, and minibuses are almost halved [3] . Municipal bus transport MUP RTK "Rostovpassazhirtrans" has the following four-digit garage numbering - 5 *** and 6 ***, corresponding to the fleets of registration of rolling stock.
Passenger
The number of passengers transported over the year by buses (in intercity communication, without minibuses) in 2010 amounted to 191.7 million people [4] .
In 2011, 228.1 million people were transported by buses operating as usual. (or 70.6% of transportation by all types of passenger transport), by buses in the “route taxi” mode - 67.4 million people. (20.8%) [2] .

Since November 2018, a new bus network has been introduced in Rostov-on-Don:

Fare
Starting from August 10, 2019, the fare in Rostov-on-Don city bus routes is 26 rubles when paying in cash to the driver at the entrance, and if you have a transport card or a bank card, the fare is 23 rubles [5] for students and pensioners who do not have benefits payment is 11 rubles 50 kopecks when paying by social transport card. In buses with the MT numeral and letter designation, as well as in all suburban buses with stops on city lines, the same travel benefits apply as on all other city bus routes. Preferential categories of citizens at the federal and local levels enjoy the right of free travel if there is a single travel ticket of a standard form.
