World Cup Career

After the World Cup, Givarsh signed a contract with the English Newcastle, but already in November moved to the Scottish Rangers. Having received a serious injury, Givarsh in 1999 returned to France and already there, speaking for Auxerre and Guingamp, in 2002 he ended his career. He went into business selling pools on the Cote d'Azur . Sometimes he acts as a commentator on television and coaches an amateur team from a small town in Brittany , where he himself comes from.

The Givarsha is often included in the lists of the most unsuccessful transfers in the history of English football: the Daily Mail in 2009 put Stefan in first place in the list of worst appearances of attackers in the Premier League [3] , The Observer in 2000 put Givarsha in 9th place in the list 10 worst transfers of foreigners [4] .
