Biography
Born in 1977 in Sofia . Bulgarian- Sephardic origin. Aroyo and her family moved to Israel when she was 10. The only member of the group who never lived in Liverpool : Ruben Wu and Daniel Hunt grew up there, and Helen Marnie studied. At a London DJ party, Aroyo met with Danny Hunt through mutual acquaintances and it turned out that they were DJs in the same musical style. Mira became a keyboard player, vocalist and songwriter for Ladytron . She writes and sings songs in English and her native Bulgarian . She also performed the song “Million Scarlet Roses” in Russian as part of the indie-pop project The Projects.
In addition to her musical interests and abilities, she defended her doctoral dissertation in molecular genetics at Oxford University , receiving a Ph.D. He is fond of lomography . Pescaritan . Since 2010, married to photographer Harry Hardy. February 23, 2012 they had a daughter, Noah. Currently, the family lives in London .
