Brovtsev, Vadim Vladimirovich

Born July 26, 1969 in Chelyabinsk-65 (now Ozersk ).

Active military service took place in units of the Strategic Missile Forces (Strategic Missile Forces).

He graduated from the Sverdlovsk Institute of National Economy ( SINH ) with a degree in Economics and Logistics Planning.

In 1990, he founded the company Vermiculite.

In 1994 - 1996 - Director of the Ural-Auto Transport Company.

In 1996 - 2005 - Member of the Ozyorsk City Council of Deputies.

Since 2005 - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the construction company Vermiculite ( Chelyabinsk ).

He is studying in absentia at the Higher School of Privatization and Entrepreneurship ( VSPP ) and at the Russian School of Management.

Since August 5, 2009 - Chairman of the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia ^[2]

From December 11, 2011 to April 19, 2012 - and. about. President of the Republic of South Ossetia ^[1] .

Before the appointment of Vadim Brovtsev in South Ossetia, 13 heads of government were replaced in the period after the collapse of the USSR (since 1991) ^[3] .

For the appointment of Vadim Brovtsev to the post of Chairman of the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia during the secret ballot of the 27 deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia, 24 deputies voted, three against ^[4] .

Since December 11, 2011, Vadim Brovtsev became the Acting President of the Republic of South Ossetia.

Starting to temporarily fulfill the duties of the head of state, Vadim Brovtsev held an extended workshop with the participation of the heads of executive authorities, administrations and law enforcement agencies of the Republic. Opening the meeting, and. about. President of South Ossetia made an official statement:

“As the chairman of the current government, taking up the duties of president of South Ossetia, I consider it necessary to state the following:

- It is a great honor and no less great responsibility for me to fulfill the duties of the head of state during the formation of statehood in South Ossetia.

- I will fulfill the duties assigned to me, strictly guided by the norms of existing law and morality.

- Today, under my chairmanship, a meeting was held with representatives of all law enforcement agencies, at which the heads of law enforcement agencies confirmed that they fully provide external protection for the state and maintain law and order in the territory of South Ossetia. Law enforcement officers were instructed, as before, to carry out their activities strictly within the framework of the Law.

- Based on the existing political calendar, the leadership of the Republic has taken all necessary measures to organize the upcoming election process in full compliance with legal norms.

- In the period remaining before the election, I urge leaders of all levels with a sense of responsibility towards the people of South Ossetia to approach to the performance of their duties, to ensure labor discipline and the normal functioning of the life support systems of the population.

In a calm, balanced atmosphere, we are obliged to continue the task of restoring South Ossetia, and in a short time, by democratic means, in the popular elections, elect a new head of state.

The priority for me was and remains work for the benefit of Man, ensuring the constitutional rights and freedoms of a citizen, ensuring the safety of every resident of the Republic, as well as the economic development of the state ” ^[5] .

Married. The family has two children: a daughter and a son.
