Geography
Located in the south of the region, on the left bank of the Desna River ( Dnieper basin), 6 km from the railway station Vitemlya (on the Orsha - Khutor-Mikhailovsky line ). Population - 5656 [1] people. (2018). It is the lowest point of the Bryansk region (125m above the Baltic Sea ). [3]
History
The eponymous farm in this area has been known since the 19th century , but the official founding date of the modern village is the founding date of the woodworking plant - 1915 .
Status of urban-type settlement since 1940 .
May 30, 2013 Belaya Berezka was awarded the honorary title "Settlement of Partisan Glory" [4] .
