Nikolai Alekseevich Luginov (born August 14, 1948 , pp. Tyaya, Kobyay ulus , Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic [2] ) is a Yakut Russian writer, playwright and screenwriter, member of the USSR Writers Union since 1979 . People's writer of Yakutia , Honored Artist of Yakutia [3] .

He graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Yakutsk State University, Higher Literary Courses at the Literary Institute. A.M. Gorky. For several years he taught mathematics in secondary schools, worked as an instructor at the Yakutsk OK Komsomol.
He is the director of the Literary Museum. P. A. Oyunsky [4] , co-chairman of the board of the Union of Writers of Russia , vice-president of the Academy of Spirituality of the Republic of Sakha [2] .
Lives and works in Yakutsk .
The first publications were in the Hotugu Sulus magazine in 1974. Two years later, the first book of short stories [1] was published.
In 2009, the film “ The Secret of Genghis Khaan” was shot according to the book by Nikolay Luginov “At the command of Genghis Khan ”.
