Angry is the lead ship of Project 57 , also known as the Angry destroyers , built for the Soviet Navy in the late 1950s . Subsequently, it was reclassified to a large missile ship (1966), in 1972-1973 it was modernized according to project 57-A, and then reclassified with the transfer from a subclass of large missile ships to a subclass of large anti-submarine ships .

History
November 16, 1957 , under serial number 1401, EM “Angry” was laid down at the Nikolaev Shipyard named after 61 Communards , and on December 17, 1957 was added to the lists of ships of the Navy of the USSR . The Angry was launched on November 30, 1958 .
January 10, 1960 "Wrathful" entered service, and on August 22 of the same year it was included in the Black Sea Fleet [1] .
In 1961 EM “Angry” made an extra long passage from the Black Sea around Europe , and then - by the Northern Sea Route to the base of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) .
May 19, 1966 EM “Angry”, like all ships of the project 57 bis, was reclassified to the Big Rocket Ship (DBK) [2] .
The Angry DBK twice visited Massawa in Ethiopia (January 1967 and 1969 ) and Casablanca in Morocco (October 1968 and April 1978 ), as well as once Aden in South Yemen (January 1969 ), Nairobi in Mauritius (April 1969 ), Bombay in India (November 1975 ), Vancouver in Canada (August 1976 ) [3] .
While in the war zone, "Wrathful" performed combat missions to assist the armed forces of Egypt (June 1967 and from April to December 1968), Syria (June 1967) [4] .
March 13, 1969 "Angry" was transferred to the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) . In the period from 1972 to 1973, it was modernized according to project 57-A in Vladivostok at the Dalzavod Shipyard. On March 7, 1974, “Angry” was reclassified to the Big Anti-Submarine Ship (BOD) .
On April 8, 1988, the Wrathful BPC was withdrawn from service, disarmed, and expelled from the Navy in connection with the transfer to the OFI for dismantling and sale, and was disbanded on July 17 of the same year [5] .
