Story
After warning a man in a chicken suit that the doomsday was coming in connection with the “2000 problem,” Peter closes his family in the basement on December 31, 1999. Indeed, a few seconds after the onset of the new year, a nuclear cataclysm occurs, turning the surviving inhabitants of Quahog into mutants and cripples. Peter Joe’s friend is molten, and the other two (Quagmire and Cleveland) have fused together and are now called Quagland (or Clivmir in the second version).
Peter eats all dehydrated foods before they get to the water, and the family has to travel to Natick , Massachusetts , where they hope to find the Twinky Grocery Factory surviving. Along the way, Stewie falls into nuclear waste and turns into an octopus-like creature.
Arriving in Natik and discovering that the factory has a large number of donuts, the Family Family establishes the city of New Quahog there. Peter is elected mayor because he knew about the existence of the factory and brought everyone here. Joe and Quagland organize the City Council. Despite the wise advice of friends, Peter makes some fatal mistakes in leadership, and the last straw is that Peter destroys the city water supply in order to use pipes to create weapons against hypothetical enemies.
Meanwhile, the stout Stewie suddenly lays several hundred eggs in the basement of his house.
Peter is removed from the post of mayor of New Quahog and is expelled from the city with his family. Family Guy decides to head to the Carvel Ice Cream Factory in Framingham , Massachusetts.
Residents of New Quahog burned all the weapons Peter created, but then monsters that attacked the inhabitants of the city hatched from Stewie's eggs. New Quahog is destroyed, and the Unsuspecting Griffins are moving away from him, singing hiking songs.
The episode ends with Pamela Barnes Ewing waking up and telling her dream to her husband Bobby , completely retelling the series.
