Duma ( arab. دوما ) is a city in Syria , in the governorate of Damascus . The administrative center of the county Duma. The population according to 2004 is 110,893 people [1] .

Duma is a very conservative Muslim city. Sources mention the existence of a city from Aramaic times. In the Duma there are more than 80 mosques, many of which are historical monuments. History
