Story
Rich aunt Margarita Pieterschmidt decides to visit her niece Lois, but falls dead, barely entering the house. Lois inherited from her remains Cherrywood Manor estate in Newport , Rhode Island . Arriving there, the family of Griffins gets acquainted with the servants who immediately quit when they did not appreciate their “musical greeting” (“The old pepper shaker paid us only for this song only.” Peter takes everyone back to work after he admits that he secretly already sold their old house in Quahog.
It’s hard for Peter to find a common language with the representatives of the “blue blood”, but Stewie quickly gets used to command the servants, even arranges a death battle between the two of them.
Peter asks Brian to teach him "to be a true gentleman" and after several unsuccessful lessons, Brian resorted to shock therapy .
And then one evening Peter arrives at a very glamorous auction in a new guise - Lord Griffin. Lois is shocked at how easily and naturally her husband behaves among high society. But Peter incorrectly estimated the size of his fortune and bought some kind of vase for $ 100 million.
Lois decides to return immediately to Quahog: she remembered why she had fled Newport at one time. She doesn't like how wealth changes people. Brian is the only one who can convince Peter that he is not so rich and glamorous. Peter returns to reality, but he still has to pay for the purchased vase.
For money comes Mr. Brandywire from the Historical Society. Peter is trying to impress upon the fact that the contents of the mansion are worth millions: he “suddenly notices” the inscription on the wall “Jesus was here”, signed 51 BC and a small toy train under the floor, which he gives out as part of the Underground Railway Harriet Tabman ( Harriet Tubman 's Underground Railroad ). After several unsuccessful attempts to prove that the mansion is of sufficient historical value to pay for the purchase of a vase, Peter and Lois accidentally find several photos in the cache. They depict prominent American politicians who visited at one time Cherrywood Manor, who at that time was a public house. The find immediately makes the mansion incredibly valuable, and the sale of one of these photos to the “yellow newspaper” allows Peter to buy back (for a double price) his sold house in Quahog.
At the end of the episode, Peter reassures himself with the thought that now he doesn’t care what the Lois family thinks of him: after all, “all her ancestors were“ pimps and whores “”.
