Pavel Vsevolodovich Tereshkovich (b. 1958 ^[1] ) - Soviet and Belarusian ethnologist , historian and cultural anthropologist . Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor.

Biography

In 1980 he graduated from the History Department of the Belarusian State University . In 1986 - graduate school of the Institute of Art Studies, Ethnography and Folklore of the Academy of Sciences of the BSSR .

Trained at the University of Pittsburgh (1996) and the University of Oxford (1999). In 1995 he lectured at the University of Helsinki , from 1999 to 2004 - at the University of Lublin . Maria Skłodowska Curie .

Founder of the Department of Ethnology, Museology and Art History, BSU . He headed the department from the time of its creation on June 30, 2001 ^[2] until March 2008 ^[1] .

From 2008 to January 2014, he taught at the European Humanities University and was (from May 2, 2009) the chairman of the YSU Senate convening the years of Booking ^[3] .

Bibliography

He is the author of more than 100 scientific papers ^[1] , the monograph “Ethnic History of Belarus of the XIX - Early XX Centuries”.
