Shitynau ( Vietnamese. Sư Tử Nâu , Rus. Brown Lion ) - Vietnam’s oil field , located east of Ho Chi Minh , on the shelf of the South China Sea. Opened in 2005 . Initial oil reserves are 40 million tons.

Oil content is associated with Miocene deposits . Deposits at a depth of 45-100 m.
The operator of the field is the oil company Cuu Long Joint Operation Co, which includes: PetroVietnam (50%), ConocoPhillips (23.25%), KNOC (14.5%), SK ( South Korea , 9%) and Geopetro ( Canada , 3.5%).
