October is a municipality with the status of a rural settlement as part of the Zavyalovsky district of Udmurtia .

The administrative center is the village of Oktyabrsky .

Established in 2005 ^[3] as a result of local government reform .

Geographic data

Located in the central part of the district, it borders:

in the north and east with the May Day rural settlement
in the south with Zavyalovsky rural settlement
in the west with the territory subordinated to the mayor's office of Izhevsk

The Chemoshurka River flows through the territory of the settlement.

History

October Village Council was formed by decree of the Presidium of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic on February 7, 1991 ^[4] . In 1994, he was transformed into the October rural administration, and in 2005 into the Oktyabrskoye municipal formation (rural settlement) ^[3] .
