Good financial performance, development dynamics and stability of the Bank positively influenced the choice of Western donor organizations and financial institutions looking for reliable partners in Moldova. For many years, FinComBank SA has been successfully cooperating with the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the European Fund for Southeast Europe, the Overseas Private Corporation Investment Corporation (OPIC), is a member of the Rural Finance and Small Business Development (IFAD) project, as well as the Rural Investment and Services Project (RISP).
In August 2007, the well-known American venture capital fund Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF) became one of the Bank’s major shareholders, acquiring 25% of its shares.
FinComBank is one of the founders and members of the Association of Banks of Moldova and the Moldovan Stock Exchange, a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova.
