Population
A mono-ethnic (99% of the 4,000th population) Chechen village within the city of Khasavyurt, northeast of the center [3] . The village includes 18 streets [4] .
History
In 1883, the Chechen-Kumyk village. A mosque and a school were located in the village [5] . According to data from 1914, the Chechen village of Bammat-Bek-Yurt consisted of 43 yards, 526 acres of land were in the possession, including 230 convenient and 130 forests. Administratively, it was subordinate to the Bata-Yurt rural government of the Khasav-Yurt district of the Terek region [6] . In 1929, the Khasav-Yurt village council of the Khasav-Yurt region consisted of 56 households [7] .
Today it is mainly inhabited by Chechens and has joined the city of Khasavyurt [8] .
Among the local population for this settlement there is an unofficial name - “Bandit-aul” [3] .
