Barrett XM109 (initial designation - OSW , English Objective Sniper Weapon , "target sniper weapon") - American self-loading grenade launcher [2] , created by Barrett Firearms based on the M107 sniper rifle. The weapon is designed for 25 × 59 mm XM1050 TP and XM1049 HEDP grenade launchers used in the XM307 ACSW automatic grenade launcher. For 2005, Barrett built ten prototypes of the XM109 sniper rifle. By replacing some parts, the XM109 can be obtained from the M107 (and vice versa).
