History
It arose at the beginning of the 20th century as a village at the Saratov manufactory textile factory. In pre-revolutionary times, the owners of the manufactory were representatives of the Boreley clan — the famous Saratov flour moguls. In 1917, the factory briefly passed to the native of Balcer (now Krasnoarmeysk) A. I. Bender [2]
In 1920, it was merged with the nearby village of Shakhmatovo under the name Saratov Manufactory . The factory itself was named after the revolutionary K. N. Samoilova [3] .
In 1929 it was transformed into a working village with the assignment of the name Red Textile Worker . November 15, 1933 transferred to the Volga German Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. In the Republic, the village was an enclave and was not part of any of the cantons [4] . In the 1939 census data, the village was included in the composition of the Engels City Council [5]
Since 1941 , after the liquidation of the Volga Germans Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic - as part of the Saratov region of the Saratov region .
Since 2012 - a village of rural type.
