The municipality is formed by the working settlement Zolotarevka with the status of an urban settlement as the only settlement in its composition [3] .
It is located 25 km from Penza , 8 km from the Shnaevo railway station, on both banks of the Medoyevka river.
Content
History
It was founded with the same name on the site of ancient settlements at the beginning of the 17th century by the clerk of the Penza provincial office Alexei Fedorovich Zolotaryov. Until the 19th century, the village of Zolotarevka was called and was part of the Gorodishchensky district of the Penza province [4] .
