Rail Transport

Chunsky is located on 141 km of the East-Siberian railway . The village is located Chun station. In addition to it, the city has a carriage depot Chuna-ICP.

Passenger message . Direct passenger communication by long-distance trains :

  • in the western direction with Moscow , Krasnoyarsk , Irkutsk , Kislovodsk , in summer with Adler , Anapa , Novosibirsk ;
  • eastward with Severobobaykalsky , Tynda , Ust-Ilimsky .

Commuter trains go to the stations:

  • westward: Taishet ;
  • eastward: Vikhorevka .

History . The Chun station was founded in 1958, at the time of commissioning of the Taisheto-Lena railway (now part of the East-Siberian railway Taishet ( Taishet station ) - Ust-Kut ( Lena station )).

Until 1997, the Chun station was the boundary between the Bratsk branch of the All-Russian Railways ( GCD- 4, Chun - Lena ) and the Taishet branch of the All-Russian Railways (Taishet-Chun).

Air transport

At 11 kilometers west of the village is located airfield "October" ( index of the state aerodrome UINO (UINO)), equipped with a concrete airstrip . It is in the status of the landing site used by FBU Avialesokhrana . The airport is absent. A passenger message is missing.
