It stands on the Left Khingan River (the Khingan River basin).
The distance to the administrative center of Obluchye is 19 km (to the south-west).
Content
History
The village of Khingansk began to be built simultaneously with the Khinganolovo plant, which included a mine and an enrichment plant. The Khingan tin deposit was discovered in 1944 . Initially, the village was called Mikoyanovsk.
The status of an urban-type settlement has been since 1948 .
