The population is 4,311 inhabitants ( 2010 census ) [2] .
By the order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated July 29, 2014 No. 1398-p “On approval of the list of single-industry towns”, the village is included in the category “Single-industry municipalities of the Russian Federation (single-industry towns) with risks of deterioration of the socio-economic situation” [3] .
History
The village got its name from the lake that is not freezing in winter (connected by a channel with the Bira River ). In the 20th century , keta came into the ice-free spawning bay from the Sea of Okhotsk (across the Amur River ) into the lake to spawn . On the shore of the warm Lake there was a fish breeding plant.

Geography
Located 94 km west of the regional center - the city of Birobidzhan , 66 km north-east of the district center - the city Obluchye . 1.5 km from the river Bira (tributary of the Amur). The village Teploozersku corresponds to the railway station Warm Lake.
Economy
The town-forming enterprise is the Teplozersky cement plant (TTSZ OJSC)

Teploozerskoye urban settlement is highly subsidized. The issue of joining to it another subsidized municipality - Londokovsky urban settlement [18] .
Since 1997, the settlement village boiler house has been experiencing constant difficulties, problems with equipment in the enterprise. The plight of the cement workers in the Far East was regularly told on Channel One, Russia, TV Center, NTV. The problem has not been solved so far and problems with heating tariffs have begun [19] .
Currently, a significant part of the housing stock is in a deplorable state - apartment buildings on the streets of Lazo, Kalinin, Vokzalnaya. [20] Some houses are abandoned. [21] The water supply networks in the village have not been thoroughly repaired for a long time - some houses have dirty water.
July 23, 2018 The administration of the Jewish Autonomous Region stated that at a meeting organized by the Development Company of single-industry towns, it was decided to implement projects in Teploozersk for the production of drinking water, soft drinks and fish farming. The total investment is more than 250 million rubles, it is planned to create about 40 jobs. [22]

Ecology
According to Yevgeny Sysoyev, deputy general director of the plant in the village, there is an environmental problem: “There is an environmental problem in the village. Now we have worked through the issue and prove to our management the means that will allow for the reconstruction of one of the filters, and then all the other filters of our furnaces " [21] At the same time, the water in the lake is fairly clean due to the constant influx of mountain springs.

Attractions
Monument to Japanese prisoners of war who in the 40s of the last century built the Teplozersky cement plant. The monument is located near the Teploozersk district hospital, which was built in close proximity to the “Japanese cemetery”, where former soldiers of the Kwantung Army were buried.
