Mining - an urban-type settlement in the Nerchinsky district of the Transbaikal Territory of Russia , at the confluence of the Nerch into Shilka . The center of the urban settlement "Priiskovsky" . Railway station Priiskovaya on the Trans-Siberian Railway ( Trans-Baikal Railway ).

The population is 1387 ^[1] people. (2017).

It was founded in 1658 as a restored Nerchinsk prison .
