1994 World Ice Hockey Championship

The 58th Ice Hockey World Championship 1994 was held in Italy from April 25 to May 8 . At first, all teams were divided into two groups of six teams and played in a round robin. Then the four best teams from each group played according to the Olympic knockout system, starting from the quarterfinal, respectively. To determine the third place a separate match was held. A match was also held to identify the team that finished last and left the elite next year.
