Kasyan, Anna Oganesovna

Anna Kasyan was born in the family of the famous Armenian duduk player Hovhannes Kasyan .

A pupil of the Central Music School for Gifted Children of Tbilisi ( piano and violin ), Kasyan has been soloing in concerts with orchestras since she was eight years old. In 1999, she entered the Tbilisi State Conservatory in the violin class. It was during this period that her passionate interest in singing was born, and two years later she was already a student of the above conservatory as a vocalist ^[1] .

Since 2003, Kasyan improved in Paris at the Normal School of Music (graduates with three diplomas of higher education) and at the graduate school of the vocal faculty of the Higher National Conservatory of Paris ^[2] . In addition, she attended master classes by artists such as Tom Krause , Raina Kabaivansk , Viorica Cortes , , as well as Baroque music by and .

Anna Kasyan is a laureate of numerous international competitions ( Strasbourg , Paris , Brussels , Geneva , ARD- Munich , Pamplona , Montreal , UNISA).

• In 2009, Anna Kasyan won competitions in Paris (Vibrarte) and in Strasbourg ( Grand Prix , chaired by Barbara Hendricks ). ^[3]
• In 2008, the singer performed with great success at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Competition in Belgium: the first soprano, fourth prize winner and CANVAS TV public prize winner (Internet, television, radio).
• In 2007, she won the Rocca delle Macie competition in Italy (chaired by Renato Bruzon) and took third place in the competition in Geneva, along with the special prize Cercle du Grand Théâtre de Genève.
• In 2006, she twice became a four-time winner of the 55th ARD, Munich and Pretoria Competitions, South Africa. In the same year, she wins the Julian Gayarre competition in Spain and receives a special prize from Theresa Bergans .

Anna Kasyan is a laureate of the Meyer Foundation (2004-2005), the Bestigi and Zalecki Foundations (2003-2007), the Nadia and Lily Boulanger Foundation (2007).

In 2006, Anna Cassian was declared the Laureate of the French Association of Performing Arts ( ADAMI ) in the nomination "Opening of the Year in the Field of Lyrical Art" ^[4] . Kasyan receives the Best Artist Award from the Musical Olympus 2008 festival in St. Petersburg, Russia.

In 2007, Anna Kasyan made her debut in the role of Rosina ( The Barber of Seville , Rossini ) in the frame of the Opera a Plan Air festival in Paris and Ile de France (F. Uy / J. Miganes). This performance was presented by French critics and the press in the nomination Best Opera Performance of 2007 at the third session of Les Globes de Cristal des Arts et de la Culture (France).

Kasyan played the role of Zerlina ( Don Giovanni , Mozart ) in many opera houses in France: Montpellier ( E. Nike / J.P. Scarpitte) in 2008, in Metz (J. Mercer / N. Sadul), Rouen (G. . Rumstadt / L. Lafargue) in 2009. Spectators of the Republic of San Marino could hear her Norina in Donizetti 's opera Don Pasquale (A. Ciavatta / D. Ucello).

The famous French festival “ Radio France ” invited Anna Cassian to the role of Zerlina in Mozart’s opera Don Giovanni (E. Nica / J.P. Scarpitte). She performed the same part at the Montpellier Opera House (J.P. Scarpitt / E. Nicae), and at the Toulon Opera House she performed Yano in Janacek ’s opera Enufa . Spectators of the Republic of San Marino could hear her Norina in Donizetti 's opera Don Pasquale .
