Cold War Museum - Military History Museum in Lorton , Virginia , USA . [1] The museum was founded in 1996 by the son of Francis Gary Powers (an American pilot, shot down in 1960 over Soviet territory).

Among the exhibits is a charred U-2 fragment, which Francis Gary Powers' son managed to acquire in Russia, a flight suit, a helmet, as well as a rug that his father made from a potato bag in custody. [one]
