University of Colorado Natural History Museum

The University of Colorado’s Museum of Natural History is located in Boulder , Colorado and contains over 4 million exhibits dedicated to anthropology , botany , entomology , paleontology and zoology , as well as US archeology , and is thus one of the largest natural science collections. The museum is accredited by the American Association of Museums ( en: American Association of Museums ) - only 18 of the existing 17,500 US museums have received this honor. The museum also hosts academic and field practice students of the University of Colorado .
