Radlux (symbols: rlk , rlx ) is a unit of luminosity equal to lumen per square meter (lm / m 2 ).
The name Radlux is derived from luxury - a unit of illumination having the same dimension ; proposed by the French physicist Andre Blondel .
1 rlc = 10 −4 rf .
In the USSR, radlux was introduced in 1948 by the “Regulation on Light Units” with the following definition: one radlux is the same luminosity at all points of a luminous flat surface that emits a luminous flux one lumen from one square meter to one side of itself.
