Toshiyuki Itahana ( 板 鼻 利 幸 Itahana Toshiyuki ) is a Japanese game director and artist best known for working on character design for Square Enix’s games . After graduating from a vocational school, he got a job at Banpresto as an illustrator. As part of this team, he took part in the development of the game " Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon ", and after the merger of Square and Enix, he finally transferred to the staff of the newly formed corporation. His first serious work was character design for Final Fantasy IX , his first job as director was Code Age Commanders . In addition, Itahana was involved in the development of all Crystal Chronicles games.
