Biography
He graduated from the seminary in Ruse in 1906 and became a priest in the village of Slivovik in his native land. For rebellion before the church authorities imprisoned for 6 months in the Transfiguration Monastery .
In 1919 he joined the BKP (t.s.) and participated in its first congress. After the June coup of 1923 , he worked as a party courier between Medkovec and Lom .
He took part in the September uprising and proved himself as a skilled commander in the battle for Lom , led an artillery gun in battle at the Brusartsi railway station [1] . During the suppression of the uprising, he was captured by the authorities and hanged on a telegraph pole in his native village [2] .

In his poem “September”, Geo Milev , who later became a victim of white terror , painted the image of Andrei’s priest with his inherent drama and heroism.
