An integrated locomotive safety device ( CLUB ) is installed on traction and self-propelled railway rolling stock ( locomotives , MVPS , railcars ) and functionally combines an automatic locomotive alarm and an electronic locomotive speed meter . The most widespread was CLUB-U (unified, that is, adapted for installation on all types of locomotives and motor carriages (MVPS) ).

Among the functions of the CLUB are the following:

  • reception, decoding of ALS signals (ALSN, ALS-EN) and display at the locomotive traffic light of the readings of the outdoor traffic light in front;
  • control of the permitted speed of movement depending on the readings of the ALS and the electronic map (EC) of the locomotive's circulation section;
  • automatic stopping of a train in front of a traffic light with a prohibiting indication on the coded section, preventing unauthorized movement of the locomotive, recording movement parameters and basic indicators of the system;
  • reception and processing of digital radio channel (RK) signals;
  • reception and processing of signals from satellite navigation system (SNA) Glonass / GPS ;
  • determination of the path coordinate using the SNA and EC;
  • distance to the nearest waypoint
  • regulation of travel speed of a track object;
  • control of the vigilance of the driver;
  • control of the beginning of movement;
  • condition of the brake equipment system (air pressure in the brake line , brake cylinders and surge tank);
  • informing the driver about the status of the system;
  • registration on electronic media of more than 40 parameters.

The technical parameters of the system provide the ability to receive ALS codes and certain commands using a digital radio channel. To determine the coordinates, the Glonass / GPS satellite positioning system is used.

Varieties

Issued by Izhevsk Radio Plant OJSC. There are several types of CLUB:

  • CLUB;
  • CLUB-U;
  • CLUB-UP;
  • CLUB-P.

CLUB

Areas of use:

  • trunk and shunting locomotives of railways.

Features and features:

  • indication of actual speed;
  • reception and processing of signals ALS-N and ALS-EN;
  • the formation of an allowable speed and its indication depending on the received ALS signal;
  • speed control and hitch braking when exceeding the permissible speed according to the traffic light;
  • braking control in front of a traffic light with a prohibition signal;
  • turning off the traction when applying signals for auto-braking;
  • control of the vigilance of the driver;
  • exclusion of spontaneous movement;
  • control of the beginning of movement (not later than 75 seconds) after the driver鈥檚 controller is brought out of its zero position.

Driving modes:

  • train with a permissible speed V add. on white, equal to the constructional speed V const. ;
  • shunting with V add. = 60 km / h;

In 2000, discontinued.

CLUB-U

Areas of use:

  • it is installed on all types of locomotives , including on high-speed sections of railways with autonomous and electric traction of direct and alternating current, equipped with track devices for automatic locomotive signaling (ALSN) , multi-valued automatic locomotive signaling, automatic brake control system (SAUT);
  • It is used on sections of railways equipped with a coordinate system for regulating the movement of trains on the basis of a digital radio channel (RK).

Features and features:

  • providing an emergency stop of the train on the orders of the station duty officer (DSP) or the train dispatcher (DSC), transmitted over the RK data transmission, regardless of the actions of the driver;
  • the exception of the movement of the train after it stops without the permission of the chipboard or the data center transmitted over the RK data transmission, including when pulling the traffic light to the prohibitory signal.

Driving modes:

  • train with a permissible speed Vdop. on green (white), set with the BVL and determined by the category of the train;
  • shunting with V add. = 60 km / h on white and with V add. = 40 km / h for train category 7;
  • special shunting with V add. = 20 km / h (software up to version 6);
  • dual traction mode (software from the 6th version).

CLUB-UP

Areas of use:

  • it is installed on self-propelled traveling vehicles of category I, performing self-propelled work and / or for transportation of economic trains similar to locomotives, as well as transportation of traveling crews.

Features and features:

  • determination of train movement parameters (coordinates, speed) according to information from satellite navigation devices, track and speed sensors, electronic map of the site;
  • indication of actual speed;
  • formation of information about the target and permissible speed;
  • provision of hitch braking when the actual speed exceeds the permissible speed;
  • impossibility of movement with disabled EPK and disabled security system;
  • monitoring the maximum permissible speed of 20 km / h in operating mode and generating a hitch stop signal when it is exceeded;
  • monitoring the reduction of the permissible speed in front of a traffic light with a prohibiting signal and excluding its passage without a preliminary stop;
  • exclusion of spontaneous movement;
  • control of the vigilance of the driver;
  • registration of operational information about the movement of the train, diagnostics of the system of locomotive and train characteristics using the registration device;
  • pressure control in the brake cylinders, brake line and main reservoir.

Driving modes:

  • train with a permissible speed V add. on green (white) specified from the BVD (data input unit) and determined by the category of the train;
  • shunting with V add. = 40 km / h on white;
  • worker with V add. = 20 km / h.

CLUB-P

Areas of use:

  • it is installed on self-propelled traveling cars of the II category developed and manufactured at factories;
  • installed during the modernization of the existing fleet of self-propelled traveling machines of category II.

Features and features:

  • indication of actual speed;
  • formation of permissible speed and its indication depending on the indications of the traffic light;
  • speed control and hitch braking when exceeding the permissible speed according to the traffic light;
  • braking control in front of a traffic light with a prohibition signal;
  • turning off the traction when applying signals for auto-braking;
  • control of the vigilance of the driver;
  • the exception of spontaneous movement.

Driving modes:

  • train with a permissible speed V add. on white, equal to the constructional speed V const. ;
  • shunting with V add. = 40 km / h;
  • worker with V add. = 20 km / h and the removal of vigilance control at an actual speed of less than or equal to 10 km / h.
