Biography
Edgar Dubrovsky graduated with honors from the Faculty of Biology of Moscow State University and the Higher Screenwriting Courses . A member of the authorial team of the biology faculty of Moscow State University with a pseudonym is Sasha Rozdub ( SA Kharov , Sha Ngin , ROS Anova , Dubrovsky).
Screenwriter for 15 films staged at Lenfilm , Mosfilm and Sverdlovsk film studio .
For the script for the film βCold Summer of the Fifty-Third,β he was awarded the Nika State Prize and the USSR State Prize .
He died in St. Petersburg on December 29, 2016. He was buried next to his wife by actress Galina Dubrovskaya (Figlovskaya) at the Smolensky cemetery in St. Petersburg.
