Together with her husband, his brother Ivan and her husband’s nephew, Yuri was arrested in 1933 for trying to escape from the USSR . The details of this escape are described in the book of Ivan Solonevich " Russia in a concentration camp ."
Already after serving her sentence, in 1936, she was again arrested on charges of " counter-revolutionary activity ", which, obviously, was connected with the anti-Soviet activity of the Solonevichs in exile . After her arrest, she was sent to the city of Svetly [ specify ] in the Far Eastern forced labor camp of the OGPU , where on May 11, 1938, the troop at the UNKVD for Dalstroy sentenced "for counter-revolutionary activity." Irina and Boris had two children (George born in 1926 [1] and ???) who remained after the arrest of their parents in the care of Vasilisa Grigoryevna Kondratieva in Moscow. Their fate is unknown.
In the book “Youth and the GPU” Boris Solonevich writes about his wife, calling her “My Snow Maiden - Lada”.
