Career

Rzepka began his career at the Czech club Banik , where he played from 1991 to 1995. Then he began to play for the Prague Sparta, where he spent 3 years before moving to the Italian Fiorentina .

After 3 seasons in Italy, Tomas in September 2001 went to the club of the English Premier League West Ham United for 5 million pounds. [2] . West Ham United's quarterback debut took place on September 15, 2001 in the English Premier League match against Middlesbrough . In this match, Rzepka was removed from the field for two yellow cards [3] , and missed the next round of the championship. But in the third round against the " Blackburn Rovers " again entered the field. [4] In the first season, Tomasz received 10 yellow cards in the new club. In the summer of 2005, when the club began to play in the Premier League again, Rzhepka extended the contract with the club for another 2 years. On January 23, 2006, Tomasz Rzepka left West Ham to return to his family in the Czech Republic.

For the Czech national team, Rzepka spent 46 matches. The debut took place in July 1993 in a match against the Faroe Islands team . Rzepka did not qualify for the 1996 European Championships due to a two-game suspension after receiving a red card. However, he participated in the 2000 European Championship , where he spent all three matches with the Czech team.

Disciplinary issues

Rzhepka gained fame for the lack of self-control. During his professional career, he received nineteen red cards [6] , one of which was for the attack on an official and a TV operator in September 2007. [7] .
