His main role is considered to be the position of a playmaker. The nickname "Pirate" was assigned to him as follows. As Esteban himself admits, he did not know how to celebrate his goals, and did not come up with anything more original than how to start covering one eye with his hand. Biography
Esteban Granero came to the football school of Real Madrid at the age of 8 years old and almost immediately began to demonstrate his talent there. He was entrusted with the position of the striker. I beat stronger than others and was stronger than all. Then I grew up, the body formed and everything was balanced, and I was pushed to the center of the field ” [3] .
In 1999, Granero became the captain of Team B of Real Madrid until the age of 12, which then won an international football tournament in the corresponding age category. His finale was played at the Palau Sant Jordi stadium ( Cat. Palau Sant Jordi ) in the capital of Catalonia, and there Real Madrid beat the Barcelona team 1-0.
