Wisla (football club, Plock)

Wisla Plock is a Polish football club from the city of Plock , founded in 1947 . He played in Extraclass from 2002 to 2007, before that - in the First League [1] in the 1994/95 and 1996/97 seasons. The highest achievement is the victory in the national cup of the 2005/06 season. Three times the players from Plock received the right to take part in the UEFA Cup and three times the team lost in the second qualifying round of the tournament.

Among the well-known players of the club are goalkeeper Yakub Vezhkhovsky, ethnic Armenian Vaan Gevorgyan , Ireneus Elen (participant in the 2006 World Cup as part of the Polish national team), Slavomir Peshko, Adrian Mezheevsky, as well as Radoslav Sobolevsky and Radoslav Matusyak.

Home stadium: " Kazimierz Gursky " ( Plock , Lukashevich, 34). Capacity - 10 978 spectators.

History

In the 2005/06 Cup final, Zaglebe from Lublin was beaten. The first match ended with a score of 3: 2, the second - 3: 1.
