ODEK (football club)

The Orzhiv team in the 70s under the name "Woodworker" became a participant in the championship of the Rivne region , became the champion in 1979 and 1982. In 1983 the team was renamed to "Fakel". The bull team during this period played in the second league of the region. In the 1993/94 season, “Torch” took third place in the championship of the Rivne region.

After this success, the team ceased to exist due to a complete lack of funding. In 2001, the efforts of the senior management of TOV "ODEK Ukraine" created a new team, called "ODEK". In the same year, starting in the second league of the championship of the region, the team became a bronze medalist. Football players brought to Orzhiv and the regional cup. Since then, the club began to collect victories in the regional championship, as well as regional cups. ODEK regularly performs in Ukrainian tournaments among amateurs. In 2003, the players reached the final of the Ukrainian Cup, and in 2005 they got the bronze medal of the national championship among amateur teams. In 2010, the team repeated this success. In 2013, "ODEK" became the champion of Ukraine among amateur teams.
