Biography

Marina Davydovna Merimson (Ponomarenko) was born in Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region, in a family of hereditary actors.

Father, David Yakovlevich Merimson, actor, in the 1940s was director of the Rybinsk Drama Theater [1] , later played in the Kirov Drama Theater .

Marina Merimson graduated from the theater studio at the Yaroslavl Drama Theater. F. Volkova (1960). She played in the drama theaters of Kirov , Kazan , Kemerovo , Ivanovo , Krasnoyarsk , Leningrad .

In 1979 she was invited to the Chelyabinsk Drama Theater . The first role she played on the stage of the drama theater was Serafina in Tennessee Williams 's drama Tattooed Rose. Then Igor Vladimirov invited her to Leningrad to the Lensovet Theater [2] . In 1985, Marina Merimson returned to the Chelyabinsk Drama Theater.
