Cup of Ukraine on football 2009-2010 ( Ukrainian Cup of Ukraine from football 2009-2010 , the official name is Datagroup-Cup of Ukraine on football ) - the 19th Cup of Ukraine , held from July 18, 2009 to May 16, 2010 . For the first time, the Tavriya Simferopol became the winner of the cup, beating Donetsk-based Metallurg in the final in extra time with a score of 3: 2.

Matches of the first preliminary stage took place on July 18, 2009 in the fields of the clubs that are listed first.
At this stage, 17 teams of the second league and FC Irpen (Gorenichi) took part in the competition - the Cup of Ukraine among the amateur teams of the 2008 season.

Second Preliminary Round
In matches of the second stage, in addition to the winners of the pairs of the first stage, 17 teams of the first league took part, as well as six representatives of the second league : Arsenal (Bila Tserkva) , Niva (Vinnitsa) , CSKA (Kiev) , Poltava FC " , " Steel "(Dneprodzerzhinsk) and " Titan "(Armyansk) . Because of the withdrawal of the IgroService FC team from the competition (Simferopol), the number of participants in the second stage of the Cup was 31 teams, according to the regulations, in this case one team will enter 1/16 of the tournament without a game. According to the results of the draw, this team became FC “Kharkiv” [4] .

Semifinal
The draw for the semifinals took place on November 11, 2009 at the Premier League office.
