On May 7, 1995, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Victory in World War II, the song “Combat” was recorded and first played on the air. The song narrates episodes of World War II, and musical accompaniment alternates with the melody of war instruments with the rhythms of modern rock music. The work on the album began with the song “Combat” , the song confidently took the first lines of Russian charts, and was recognized as the best song of 1995. [2] .
The album contained both new compositions: “Moscow Streets”, “ Samovolochka ”, “The main thing is that I have you”, “Soon the demobilization”, which immediately became popular, and songs already familiar to several generations, “Two comrades served "," Dark mounds sleep. " Most of the songs on the album were recorded in a combination of folk instruments and electric guitars, with rock elements, which became a hallmark of the Lyube songs. The album was the last for the bass player Alexander Nikolaev. A few months after the release of the album, Nikolaev died in a car accident.
