Story
Max Rothman is a Jewish veteran of the battle of Ypres , where he lost his hand. In the difficult post-war period, Max opens a gallery of modern art , where he tries to reflect the essence of war. To him comes a young artist Hitler, who served under him, who wants his work exhibited. At the same time, Captain Mayer suggests that Hitler speak to people with anti - Semitic propaganda.
