Biography
Since childhood, Clamaran was fond of music, aided by his parents. In the early 90s , he became a DJ , working for the Paris radio station Maximum FM (one of the leading dance stations at the time). Gradually, Klamaran wins the audience and in a few years becomes a resident of the legendary club LePalace ( similar to the famous New York club Studio 54 ), where he plays on Sunday evening party Gay Tea Dance along with famous DJ Laurent Garnier . In 1992, Clamaran takes part in the project together with Laurent Potrat . As a result, the release of “I've got music in me” makes Klamarana widely known. After the success of this release Clamaran begins an intensive studio work. Antoine worked under the names of Carayca, 400HZ, D Plac, LAC, Unchain & House Train, and by 1998 was included in the list of 50 most popular musicians in France. In addition, Clamaran combines studio recording with club performances in the two largest dance clubs in Paris: Palace and Le Queen . In 1998, he prepared 3 club projects under the common name Omega: “Dreaming Of A Better World”, “Peace & Harmony”, “The Mission”. All albums received gold status in France (250 thousand copies), but were not published abroad. In 1999, Clamaran leaves commercial music and begins to engage in this house . At the same time, Antoine decides to go international. His first singles "Do The Funk", "Get Up" and "After" became fundamental in a new specific direction: "french filtered sound" (lit. "French filtered sound" ). These tracks were released in the United States under the label Filtered records by Discoland EP . The recordings had an exceptional influence on world famous DJs, including such as Boris Duglosch , Erick Morillo , Pete Tong , Danny Rampling and Robbie Rivera . The single “We Come To Party”, recorded together with Basement Jaxx, has become one of the most popular house singles. In 1999 , a few days before the New Year, Clap production (Clamaran and Pratat label) merged with Penso Positivo (the company of another famous French DJ Claude Monet ). Currently, Clamaran, in collaboration with Penso Positivo, collaborates with four more labels: Academy, North Club, House Trade Records and Basic traxx. In 2000, Antoine reached the top of the French charts with Vibration INC . Currently Clamartran is a resident of two of the largest French clubs: Les Bains Douches and Le Queen .
