Sharoshkin, Nikolai Alekseevich

In 1952 he graduated from the Penza Agricultural College; worked as an agronomist at the farm Progress. From 1953 to 1958 he studied at the Faculty of History and Philology of the Penza Pedagogical Institute . In 1958–1962 - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Agitation Department of the Penza Regional Komsomol Committee.

Since 1962 - in the Penza Pedagogical Institute: postgraduate student of the Department of History, since 1965 - Senior Lecturer. In 1966 he defended his thesis on the topic “Bodies of industrial management. 1917-1927.

In 1968-1974 - Dean of the Faculty of History and Philology (from 1971 - Associate Professor). From May 1974 to 1985 - Head of the Department of History. In 1985 he defended his doctoral thesis on the topic “Workers of the Volga region in the transitional period from capitalism to socialism. 1917-1937, since 1987 - Professor.

In 1985-1999 - Head of the Department of History, methods of teaching history, social studies and Soviet law. Since 1999 - Professor of the Department of National History.

He is the author of more than 250 works (monographs, articles, textbooks, teaching materials). Prepared 12 candidates of historical sciences. In 1994-1999 He headed for the first time the University created the Dissertation Council on the protection of dissertations for the degree of candidate of historical sciences.
