Biography
He graduated from Voronezh State University with a degree in Philology (1976). He worked as a methodologist at the Lipetsk Regional Institute for Advanced Teachers. He studied at graduate school at the Scientific Research Institute of Optical Optics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1980-1984). He entered the doctoral program of Moscow State Pedagogical University. V.I. Lenin (1990). Doct. diss. on the topic: “Pedagogical basis for the organization of club activities of schoolchildren”. He is the head of the graduate school under K. Pedagogy (1996), and since 1998 - the chairman of the dissertation council in the specialty 13.00.01 - general pedagogy and 13.00.08. - Theory and methodology of vocational education. Chairman of the Council for the defense of dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences (2005).
Under his leadership, more than 30 applicants and graduate students conducted scientific work, more than 20 of them defended the candidate. diss. The area of scientific interests is connected with the development of the problem of social education of youth in the context of new socio-pedagogical realities.
Awards and honors
For achievements in the field of education he was awarded the medal of K. D. Ushinsky (1999). In 2007 he was awarded the title “Honored Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation”.
