Story
The film is based on real events and tells about the fate of several police officers of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey during the events of September 11, 2001 . A group of police officers, learning about the collision of aircraft with the buildings of the World Trade Center , went to rescue the citizens who were in the towers of the center, and ended up in one of the buildings during its collapse. Only two of the policemen, John MacLaglin ( Nicolas Cage ) and Will Jimeno ( Michael Pena ), survived. They became one of the last rescued from the rubble.
