Biography
He graduated from the Faculty of Radio Engineering of the Kazan Aviation Institute (1970) and graduate school there (1975) [1] .
- In 1970-1975 worked at the Kazan Aviation Institute. A.N. Tupolev.
- Since 1975, he worked at the Siberian Energy Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR [1] .
- Since 1989 - Deputy Director of the Irkutsk Computing Center, Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences .
- From 1991 to December 2006 - Director of the Institute for System Dynamics and Control Theory SB RAS [1] [2] .
- Until 2017, he was director of the V. A. Trapeznikov Institute of Management Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences [3] .
He is the chairman of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the theory of controlled processes and automation, and is a member of the editorial boards of Russian and international scientific journals [2] .
