Varieties of invoices

Depending on the method, form and type of transfer of inventory, the following varieties of invoices are distinguished:

  1. Consignment note is a document intended for processing operations on the release and receipt of goods from a warehouse . It is one of the documents of the primary financial statements . It contains the name of the organization, the invoice number, the date of the release of the goods, its name, who released the goods, to whom the goods were released, its quantity, variety, price and other data, the basis for the release of goods, signatures of financially responsible persons on their vacation and acceptance.
  2. Bill of lading - a document intended for the carriage of goods. Regulates the relationship between the participants in the carriage of goods: the carrier , the sender and the consignee. This document confirms the execution of the contract for the carriage of goods. A waybill accompanies the cargo on its way from the point of receipt of the goods for transportation to the point of receipt of the goods. The document is issued to the consignor, the carrier, and, depending on the rules of transportation, is transferred to the consignee along with the cargo at its destination. The bill of lading contains data related to the cargo being transported (name of cargo, number of places, weight, marking, time of receipt of cargo for transportation and its arrival at destination, etc.). The waybill is of great importance for proving the conclusion of a contract of carriage, its conditions. The bill of lading is obligatory upon presentation of claims and claims against the carrier, consignor or consignee regarding possible claims and claims ( shortage of cargo, damage (destruction) or damage to the cargo, delayed delivery, delayed delivery, etc.).
    • The following types of consignment notes are distinguished depending on the type of transport and regulatory documents ( international agreements , laws , customs , rules ) that determine the transportation of goods:
      1. Air waybill ;
      2. Railway waybill
      3. Road bill of lading ( English CMR )
      4. Bill of lading
