Ainsielem , ("Spring of the World") [1] [2] - a municipality in the southeast of the island of Gozo , Malta . Also includes the island of Comino . The population of the municipality is 2570 people (corresponding to the 2005 census).

The name comes from a water source, around which approximately in 1700 public baths were built. The literal meaning of the toponym is “peaceful source”. Attractions are Mgarr Bay and the fishing village. Also of interest to tourists is the old Franciscan church of St. Anthony
