Biography
He studied theology and philosophy at the Higher Theological Seminary in Wloclawka and the Theological Academy in St. Petersburg , Russia . June 13, 1914 was ordained a priest. After the end of World War I, he studied at the Catholic University of Lublin , where in 1922 he defended his doctorate on the basis of the writings of St. Thomas Aquinas . At the same time he served as head of the pilgrimage center in the city of Lichen . After graduation, he served as the director of the lyceum in Wloclawka and taught moral theology at a local seminary.
In September 1939, after the German occupation of Poland, the Gestapo was arrested on November 7, 1939 and on April 3, 1941, was interned in the Dachau concentration camp , where he died in a gas chamber in 1942. Its concentration number is 24547.
Praise
On June 13, 1999, he was beatified by Pope John Paul II along with other Polish martyrs of World War II .
